Yup, Wavy water vision, I get it periodically, Like right now. Started in my left eye and moved to the right. Usually in one quadrant of peripheral vision but sometimes, like now, centered. Not unlike "floaters". It is akin to lying under babbling brook water, facing up. I am 63 and usually can work around it. It is disconcerting when it occurs while driving. I pull over.

Hi,

Yes the possibility that this pain in the temple associated with vision changes are due to migraine is still there.
Migraines can occur in many different ways and keep changing their character and frequency over time.
What medications are you currently on for migraine and do these medications provide any relief from these symptoms?
An eye exam should also be considered.

Hi,

Thanks for writing in.
Your symptoms of wavy eyesight along with pain in the temples could be because of migraine. Migraine headache usually occurs on the same side as the eye symptoms. It is important however to rule out eye conditions like retinal detachment etc.

I would suggest you to get an eye exam done. Also have you been able to identify a trigger for these symptoms or do they just occur out of the blue?

Regards
