? for Dr. RE: Headaches/Migraines.

I am honestly at the end of my rope. I have had chronic headaches since 2002. Diagnosed with a nonsecretring pituitary macroadenoma 2006. Transnasal removal 2007. No head for 2 months after surgery. Occasional double vision before surgery.

I continue to have daily headaches as well as chronic migraines (migraines since age 14). Latest MRI of brain reports venous angioma posterior fossa. I have all of my reports since 2002 and no mention of this until 2008 (a report I forgot to get) no one mentioned this to me. I have been having dizziness, headaches, tremors, major fatigue, confussion, out bursts of anger. I was told by neurosurgeon to see neurologist who told me to talk with neurologist! ARGH!!! No insuranse and I can't take any more. I don't understand why I'm getting the run around or it feels like it anyway. I feel so sick I can't stand it. Lost another job over this. Is it possible that all of this is connected? Please help.

Thank you,

Karen

Ok, I want you to increase the dose of Topamax to 1 tab two time daily then after 2 days 1 tab morning and 2 tabs evening.
A total dose of this medication can reach 150 mg in some cases.
I also want you to add 1 tab of  Baclofen 10 mg (Lioresal) at the bedtime.
contact me through a new connection after 1 week

Thank you for responding. I am being treated for depression both ways that you mentioned. These headaches are not stress, they have a left sided facial nerve tingle that leads to my lip. They become worse each day. The depression is caused by the constant pain and health issues that I have been experiencing since 2002 and before. I also have Hashimoto's Disease, Fibromyalgia which are also can cause depression as with any chronic condition as I'm sure you know.
Is it possible for  venous angioma posterior fossa to cause head pain? I am taking Topamax but so far it is not helping (25 mg q.daily) The headaches are worse with barometric pressure changes. Is it possible to have a migraine every day, because this is what it feels like. I appreciate your time.

Thank you again and please let me know if you need more specific information.

Sorry for the late answer. you seem to have an undiagnosed headache, it could be migraine , tension headache or many other types, anyways you should give me more information about your symptoms, you should help me to diagnose you :)

Depression in your case should also be treated and that will be through both ways (medications and psychotherapy!)

Stress is number 1 cause of headache, so a big change should happen in your life. you tend to look for an organic cause!! this is wrong!! you may not have such yochable cause.  MANY PEOPLE BECAME HEADACHE-FREE JUST WHEN THEY ARE TOLD THAT THEY WERE TREATED FOR A CAUSE.
waiting for your complementary information. Dr Nassim
