OCD and STD

Hey guys! Once more thank you for your amazing job here!

Today I don´t think I have a real question to make, i´d just like to tell something about suffering from OCD related to the fear of contracting Sexual Transmitted Deseases.

I´m really afraid of getting some STD... So, i´m not used to have sex--- Even if protected, with condom, i´m always afraid that it brakes during sex. Then, my sex life is quite poor... I´m now dating with a boy, we are together for like 3 monthes... I didn´t make sex yet... I asked him to get tested first... But we do like mutual masturbation and frotage... Still, I´m always concerned to take my underwear off... I know that hiv can only be transmitted through unprotected vaginal/anal sex,but when we suffer from OCD, we think of all the possibilities, even the most unprobable things... This drives me mad... What do you think about all of this? Do you know someone in this kind of situation?

You mentioned OCD. Have you tried therapy?
Your previous posts were about clothing and HIV, so this seems to be a problem that a therapist would be able to help you with. No reason to not have sex if you can get this hangup solved.

We can't provide therapy here though, and there is an std forum for that subject. If your boyfriend takes an std and HIV test and is negative you can't catch it from him, so that might be an alternative solution..
