Hi, I am 30 year old male, i have been married for 2 years, I am patient of OCD for 11 years, I used to take serta 50 for many years, one year ago my physiatrist switched me to flunil 20mg
Since last 2 months we are trying to conceive baby, before we took this decision i thought its better to stop taking medicines If any case it may harm to baby.
3 months before i stopped taking flunil I was Okay but Since one week i starts getting uncontrollable, reoccurring thoughts of OCD and I am slowly getting back into my old state of mind.
I talked with my physiatrist he said there is no problem to have Flunil while conceiving baby, he told me to continue to have pills.
I need to be sure Is it really does not affect on baby if i am having any pills?

Hi there.  I'm not a physician so I cannot answer your question.  However, I'm sure your psychiatrist knows what he/she is talking about.  The mother is the one who has to watch what she puts into her body during pregnancy.  So go back on your medication and feel better :)
