Thanks, sorry for not replying sooner. Had some issues with my phone
you can purchase book "Overcoming Obsessive Thoughts: How to Gain Control of Your OCD by David A. Clark",this book is really helpful, there are other books also like brain lock and the ocd workbook you can use them for self help
Thanks. I'm sure it is OCD. I'm interested in CBT but last time I asked about it I was told that there is a 6 month waiting list, I live in the UK so small relying on the NHS as I can't afford to pay. I was wandering if there is anything self help that I can do to keep me going.
this looks more like ocd symptoms, because testing ,checking and doubting are common features of ocd, if you cannot take medication , go for therapy , try to consult a psychologist and ask him about cognitive behavior therapy
