Avoiding things very frequently.

I'm confused because people say to me i have OCD but i don't really think so but i would like to double check...Okay i'm reall ashamed to be typing and telling this but everyday i get up in the morning when i make breakfast the kitchen counters are already clean but i have to clean it once more, i will scream if somthing goes on me or my things if they have been on the floor, i have to double clean things so i know it's clean, if things are dirty i will be aggressive i will shout, i will be very depressed and i have to clean my hands like 14 times a day, if i'm out like in school or out with my friends and they give me somthing i have to ask if it's clean and if not i will have a fit i will say things like ''clean it clean it  please!'' is this consdered normal for everyone or is it abnormal?

One of the best things i have heard to think when a person questions himself if something is wrong, is to ask yourself if the condition causes you trouble, trouble in any aspect, in your life development, including social life, work or school, or if it causes you any kind of physical discomfort. For many people one can say to have a 'disdorder' the moment the so called condition starts affecting a person's life.

well none of us are dr's who can diagnose you, but I would say you are cleaning "obsessivley", but that doesn't mean you have ocd. If it's not affecting your life, it may not be ocd. If you avoid going places you want to because you're afraid of the dirt or germs that might be there, or the cleaning is so intense you miss out on other things you want to do then I'd probably have it checked out by a dr.

ocd is obsessing over things whether it be repetitious things or rituals or just obsessing over something. There is plenty out there on the web to read about try looking up bipolar & ocd. There is quite a few different disorders that are related to the same functioning of your brain. In other words somethings can be  related of the issues u r having. I read your other post and commented on that too. Good luck! Read up and Ill look around for something that has all the same categories together for you.  http://www.helpguide.org/      heres one to get you started.
