Do I have OCD?

Every second of the day, all the time...
weather im working or helping someone..
i will be constantly thinking about how i was circumcised.
It haunts all my thoughts.
Its everywhere.
I cannot talk to a male, be taught by a male or listen to any males.
Do I have OCD?

"see the media perpetuating a nation of ridiculous narccissists. No offence buit i am genetically disposed to loathe the pants off of people that arn't fighting through their differneces daily. I am compassionate, it is terrible this is distressing you, but hopefully it should go, it is an obsession. ASk yourself are you exhibiting compulsions as a result of this traumatic recollection for hours in your day that obstruct your quality of life? If so prozac will be readiuly pumped into your systom causing more side effects than it will likely quell your anxiety and if its another condition you have and your using this as diversion or expressing it in the 'wrong box' then you may likely have detremental reactions tthat may further exasperate your conditions."

while I readily agree with your opinion of medication, was this reponse really necessary?

It actually doesn't sound like OCD.

See a therapist, like Jenkins said. They can A. Distinguish for you the type of problem, and B. Help you overcome this problem.

I feel like a real 'buggar' for my prior uneccesarily blunt posts. Do take care of yourself and see that your issues are addressed, don't 'suffer in silence.' Take care.

I'm not sure but I don't think you have OCD. It sounds like you have a hard time coming to terms with your past, and you don't seem compelled to do a certain action to help you deal with this, rather you seem in termoil. I'm not sure what else this could be. It would be best to talk to your doctor about this. Advice: make sure you're specific to your doctor. All too easily a doctor will just shove you under the diagnosis of depression because they can't be bothered (appologies to all good doctors who care). While this could be depression or the diagnosis they give is right, if you're not happy with your diagnosis, be firm with them, it's your health. Apparently, an observational form of meditation can help to provide people when they may need help finding grounding and reflect on stuff, although I don't really know much about it. You could try looking into this as an additional option to see if it would be of benefit to you.

Im really not sure if you have symptoms of OCD as you haven't given enough information but some signs and symptoms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder include:

Obsessions; Fear of contamination or dirt (by touching something someone else has tounched or shaking hands etc.), repeated doubts (e.g. doubting that the stove has been turned of, or that the iron was turned off etc.), having things orderly or symmetrical, agressive or horrific impulses (hurting someone, shouting out obscenities), sexual or violent images

Compulsions; washing and cleaning, counting (certain patterns, for example), checking (that the stove or iron is off, that the doors are locked, etc), demanding reassurance, repeating actions over and over, arranging and making items appear orderly

Obsessions can cause severe distress to the sufferer who will usually try to supress these, and the compulsions are usually to counteract the obsessions for temparary relief, although it is not usually long before the obsessions begin again. Sufferers tend to resist their compulsions aswel.
For OCD to be diagnosed, you must have either obsessions or compulsions, you must realize these are excessive and unreasonable and they must interfere with your daily routine.
Only a medical professional can tell you whether or not you have OCD.  If you believe you may be suffering from obsessions or compulsions or any other anxiety problem, inform your doctor.
