OCD meds?

Been put on 100mg of Fluvoxamine (luvox) for about a week. But the doc said she might higher it. Once the meds start to REALLY work, how long does the meds usually seem to last for day?
Does it last a while?

OK thank you I do feel a lot better, but I mean really good now, cause I haven't had any caffeine, when I was on caffeine the thoughts came back.... so I'm stopping caffeine all together, which I think is a good idea.

You will still build up a steady state taking it every day.  That is good you are already seeing improvement.  Just keep up with it and you will be amazed at how well you feel.

Do you mean CR? My bottle doesn't say that, all it says is this FLUVOXAMINE MALEATE 50 MG TAB.

I take two 50mg =100mg

And I take it only once in the morning. There are times in the day where the OCD isn't that bad, then sometimes it's bad, but NOT extremely bad, throughout the day.

I used to take only 50mg of this in the morning same thing as it is now.

But I do see progress.

If you are on the extended release tablets, then you should have relief the entire day.  I found it is best to take the medication in the morning.  You should see good results in another 3 weeks or so.  The medication builds up a steady state in your body over time.
