Club experience brought out OCD again

Couple days ago I went out to a strip club just to have a good time. There was a stripper there that was off and I was just talking to her.. We chilled and she gave me a 10 sec dance but she put her hands in my pants and touched my penis.. I felt violated I rushed back home and took a shower.. Now I keep on thinking about the situation over again, I don't know where her hands been...  If I got to go get tested ugh..  She had jeans on when she gave me a dance and now I'm rethinking the whole situation if my had any exposure to her.. I hate going through this stuff again!

Like a std risk but I know It's no risk at all I see from touching or getting a lap dance but my mind just keeps wondering.

Have you been formally diagnosed with OCD or some kind of health-related anxiety?  If so, have you had treatment?  You mentioned "going through this stuff again" so I was just trying to see where you are at in your life.

If you have never received formal therapy, I highly suggest it.  You have obviously developed some coping skills along the way.  What you have to remember is that this is a 'been there done that' thought that is not unlike any other thought you have had.  When stress levels increase thoughts increase and even those that you thought you had put to bed resurface.

Tushar has recommended a book for people with Pure-O OCD and it is called Overcoming Obsessive Thoughts: How to Gain Control of Your OCD by Christine Purdon.  Why don't you check this book out and see if it is of any help to you.
