I think to just say absolutely no would be a dis-service.  However this is a age where repetitiveness is quite normal. But I think it depends one the action that is being repeated and the maner in which it is repeated.   In my case, my child did have OCD symptoms at age 2 and was later at age 7 diagnosed with OCD and at 17 is now batteling with OCD daily.  He is also Autistic which in this case OCD is just a common disorder associated with autism.  for my son the repetitive task was always done with a rocking or swaying or bouncing body motion involved.  or in a certain sequince.  Simply repeating a task or game is part of the learning process for sure!!  And if you have any worries it never hurts to ask the pediatrition on your next regular visit.  Early diagnosis and early theropy is very key to controlling and treating any disorder.

No its not. let me explain. When we are young (0-5 years) We are only just beginning to understand how are brains function. WE are only able to do a few things. Therefore those few tasks are repeated. This is why newborns will play pika boo for hours on end. This is also why babies suck on there thumb. So have no fears. It is completely normal for children (especially two year olds) to repeat the same actions.
