if u practice safe sex, then dont go for check ups again and again, if people gets disease it will be noticable on their body, ur checking is working as compulsive part for ocd, so stop it, plus u have to learn cognitive behaviour therapy from a pychologist , if ur anxiety is too much then u should start taking medication also with consult from a pychiatrist
You have developed a form of health anxiety. You need to see a psychologist who teaches cognitive behavioral therapy. If you practice safe sex, you are not going to get any STDs but the reality is me saying that probably isn't going to make you feel better. You need to learn self-coaching strategies to get you through these thoughts without making a monster out of them. "Normal" people have these thoughts and are able to let them go...we just get stuck on them.
