Post-Proximal Row Carpectomy

Good day,

I am 10+ years post surgery from a scaphoid non-union (from fighting/Muay Thai). I have been hesitant for years on hitting the bag again, or  even getting into the ring for a sparring match.

Is there any evidence, studies, or reccomendations on what I can do to get back into the ring? Will my hand take the constant impacts? It's my left, non-dominant hand-so this would be my jabbing hand mostly.

As a note, I can't find this information, as the keywords you would use bring up the reasons for the surgery, and never anything about what happens or can happen after the surgery.
