Unusual Shoulder Pain

I have an unusual difficulty/pain in my left shoulder.  I can run, lift weights, work, lift items.  I can raise my arms above my head, lift my arm to the side.  However, I cannot reach behind me or cross my arm across my body or scratch or wash my back.  At this point it does not keep me from doing anything but the pain is becoming more frequent.  It has been going on for several weeks now.   What could it be?  And where do I start trying to figure out what, where, when, why?

Sounds like it could be a problem with your AC joint.  I would see a local orthopedist for and examination and an Xray.
