I had ulnar nerve decompression surgery on Monday and everything was going great until yesterday. My Dr put me in a wrap with a lot of gauze, etc to try and limit the movement. Anyways, unfortunately yesterday while trying to tuck in a shirt I straightened the arm. It's just one of those things you're doing and don't think about.... It hurt A LOT. So much I almost puked. Since then my elbow is extremely sore. More so than before. Mostly above the elbow where there wasn't any pain before. I've been icing it and keeping it in the sling. Is it possible I caused more damage to the nerve? Is it something that will most likely go away? I'm really worried and scared I hurt myself more. I'm only 26 and have been reading all these horror stories about complications from this surgery. I'm now second guessing my decision to do it, but I just want to get back to my active life style. Any insight would be appreciated.
