Neck fusion-Collar bone pain, elbow, hand pain

I had Neck fusion surgery Oct 8, 2008.  Everything went very well and I was back to work in a week at a desk job.  I have been experience a lot tightness and pain in the collar bone both on the left and right.  I should tell you that I had bone spurs removed, bone grafts put in between C5 & C6 and then between C6 & C7. Also, there was a 6 hole plate put in over 5,6, & 7/  Any way,  the pain I am experiencing has gotten intense to the point that I am willing to take Celebrex to relieve the inflamation and pain.  As soon as the med took hold last night I fell asleep.  The increased pain has been over a week.  I did last Tuesday do a half hour on a treadmill.  Just trying to get back in to doing some more exercise.  I had the pain prior to doing this so it didn't just start the night I did exercise.  Do I need to worry about the increased pain after doing really well - to the point that I forget that I actually had the surgery.  It feels like I could tie up my shoulders to my deck and the collar bone pain eases.
I would appreciate any advice you could give me.
Thanks,
Ann

Any sudden increase in pain so soon after surgery may be meaningful.  I would suggest you speak to your surgeon as soon as possible.

I would remain patirnt and stay the course. Although it is difficult, I would remain careful not to overdo it.

I did go to the Orthopedic Surgeon who did my surgery.  He took a Xray of my deck because I told him of the pain in my shoulders.  Everything looked okay with the graft, but not much fusion has taken place.

The recommended treatment was for my to do Physical Therapy for 6 weeks.  I just got started last week with a 30 minute session.  I possible had irritation from the exercise, because the lower part of my face swelled up.

I have been doing more activity because of my husband recovering from surgery he had a week ago.  My body tires easily and with that my back, arms, and hands are achy.
I realize that the recovery period is still happening, but there are times when it is difficult to not be impatient with the progress I have made.
