My personal opinion is don't waste the money on the gel! You probably have a Ganglion cyst, you would have to be more descriptive. For immediate relief you could have it aspirated, but it will most likely return. These stubborn cysts need to be surgically removed at the stem. They usually occur at a weak spot at the joint or tendon sheath, containing a substance like gelled synovial fluid. Best of wishes! jd1963

An anti-inflammatory gel may help reduce any pain associated with the cyst. However, it will not help reduce the size of the cyst. Usually a cyst needs to be aspirated or excised. It cannot be treated with medications. Please discuss with your doctor. Take care!
