Chronic back pain, but no one can diagnose what's wrong with me.

I was in a car accident on November 29, 2015. I was driving home on the interstate, and an eighteen-wheeler ran me off the road. It was snowing, so I did slide a bit before slamming into the dip or bank. I am 108 pounds, and 5'2" tall. I was wearing my seat belt the whole time. I went to the ER the day after, and was extremely sore. Weeks after my back was hurting so badly, I went to another doctor. Another and another. None of the doctors can tell me what is wrong. One of the doctors took an X-ray, but everything came back okay. I started physical therapy, and probably went for about 6-8 months is total. It felt as though it hurt more than it ever helped. I went to a chiropractor for a few months later on, and it did nothing for me. They took an MRI of my back, could not find anything, took another X-ray, and again another MRI, still nothing. I received two sets of four steroid shots. The first set helped a ton. The second did not. I then got an epidural injection, it did nothing. I have CHRONIC back pain. My back hurts when I do the dishes for too long, laundry for too long, stand for too long, walk too far, sit too long, clean my house, including: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming. Lifting any amount of weight hurts my back. It takes a little bit for the pain to kick in, but when it does, it does not go away for a while if at all. I have had trouble sleeping lately. When I inhale my back muscles hurt. My back pain spreads all along the thoracic area and a little towards my neck and shoulder blades as well as a little towards my lower back, it DOES not spread to my butt, legs or feet, nor through my arms, or rib cage. I do not really feel like my back ever goes numb, but I do experience tingling, stiffness or tightness, pins and needles and plain pain. I feel like I want someone to stab my back at times, or take a hammer and beat it. Massaging it myself, the parts I can reach, relieves some pain I think. I cannot afford an actual massage, so I am not sure if that would help me a lot or not.  When the pain has me in tears, I take a 50 mg Tramadol, and a lot of my pain. I took a lot of over the counter medication, but none of it helped the pain much. My back even hurts when it's cold outside, and if I am shaking. Most the time my pain is triggered by the above stuff, but occasionally my back pain will occur when I am doing nothing. I cannot work, but I have to make money, so I have to suffer through that. Sitting in class for 3 hours sometimes causes pain. I just do not know what to do, or tell all of my doctors what to do to figure out what's wrong. The best answer is whip-lash. But can whip-lash cause this much pain? Can it ever be fixed? Please help me get better or at least please help me find out what's wrong with my back. Thanks in advance.
