Foot Problem

I have a question regarding my foot anyone with information would be greatly appreciated.  I have pain in my right foot, mainly my big toe and the one next to it, and have resorted to altering the way I walk in order to achieve some sort of relief.  I have tremendous pain after sitting and standing up.  I do not have medical insurance and am wondering if anyone has any tips, remedies, etc that could help me.  Thank you

On the right side of my foot about 3 inches from my ankle I have swelling and my foot is bruised.  There is a bump that looks like something popped possibly a vein but am unsure if thats what it is.  Overall my right foot is larger, from the swelling, than my left foot.

Do you notice swelling, redness or burning of the right foot or big toe?  It is possible that you have gout.  I would suggest you see a physician to discuss treatment plans, but until then try to avoid any meat that contains organs such as kidneys or livers.  Sometimes excessive consuming of these can cause gout, although there are many other causes as well.  I hope things go well for you!
