Hi there,
I just remembered that, in desperation at my own ignorance, I had posted on various online forums about my father's health long ago.
I went through my inbox to look up what places I had posted this to. One of those forums was this.
I just wanted to thank you for your valuable feedback. My father got a hip replacement surgery and is doing well now. It was stressful for everyone in the family, since this surgery also costs a lot, but it was totally worth it.
My father is doing well now. He has no pain in his joint and I hope it stays that way. Thanks for your feedback, once again. I will be sure to pass it on to someone in the future. :)
Hi there!
Well, the nerve block would do nothing to the primary pathology and would just control pain perception for some amount of time. A joint replacement surgery would be required sooner or later. Though one could continue with pain management and walking with support, it might be a better idea to get the joint replaced to continue with a normal life.
Hope this is helpful.
Take care!
