Lower back pain - Herniated Disc or Lumbar Spinal Stenosis?? Help

Dear doctors,

My boyfriend had quite a bad accident 5 years ago and once again 5 months ago. Recently he has gain some weight and felt a quite discomfort back pain and out of his curiosity he went to hospital to do some check up. According to the test result, doctor told him that he need an operation early next year to correct the condition which the spinal cord is infected as the vertebrae is shifted from it's original position.

I would like to know if there is other alternative than undergoing the operation? As i read over the online article, i found out that a person have a high percentage to be permanently paralyze or unable to survive the surgery.

Please advice.
I want to help my boyfriend so so much.

Thanks in advance.

Hope for good.

has he ever considered getting PT first prior to consenting to surgery?  Normally, neurosurgeons refer pt's with back pain to Physical Therapy before going to surgery.  It depends on which clinic you are going to..make sure they specialize in back pain and check if the therapist is certified on manual therapy.check whether they are equipped with electrical stimulation and traction table.  good luck.

The product sounds interesting but i am afraid that it has side effect on him after he consume the drink. I am currently in Malaysia and from the website I noted that the branch of Monavie is at Utah, USA.

How much should a user consume Monavie per day? and how much is a small bottle of Monavie costs?

You might see if Monavie would give him some relief. I know it sounds funny, but if you read testimonals on Monavie, you would be surprised how many people have seen great results. I was only months away from back surgery, when my sister sent me 2 bottles and told me to drink it. One month after I started, I was off my nerve meds and muscle relaxers. That was a blessing to me. For a solid year i lived off of pills just to be able to get up in the mornings to go to work. We are self employed and own a construction company, so light work was out of the question! Concrete work like to have killed me, I couldn't walk for 3 days without being in PAIN. Now, I feel great. No more pills for me. I drink monavie twice a day and will for now on. Look it up online, do a google search for monavie testimonals and read what everyone is saying. If you would like more info, let me know and I would be happy to get it to you.

Hi,
Please consult the neurosurgeon and an orthopaedician to know what exactly can be done. The extent of the problem should be studied before commenting on the treatment module.A few cases can be corrected with just applying traction. With newer advancements in the field of spinal sugeries there wont be any problems. If the doc orders a surgery you can go ahead and do it without complications, you dont have to worry about complete paralysis for sure.A good surgery will help your boy friend.
Goodluck
