Kienbock's diagnosed May 2021

Back story:

I was a gymnast for 13 yrs (no injuries), diver in HS for 3 yrs, a cheerleader for one yr. I have been doing yoga for years. My  wrist would hurt after yoga and just shrugged it off. I hurt my wrist in May 2021 and found out I have stage 4! I had no idea that I had this disease til then. I had a radial Shortening Osteotomy on the right hand in July 2021. I am 5 months post op. I have not started Physical Therapy yet.

Now the surgeon is concerned about the lunate bone! I have no pain that is extreme, will the pain get worse?

Has anyone been stage 4 and have(d) the same surgery? How was your recovery? When did you start physical therapy? How long did it take to have your wrist be fully healed? Did you have to have an additional surgery after you had the Radial Shortening Osteotomy?  How long after having the Radial Shortening Osteotomy did you know the surgery actually worked?
How has everyone’s recovery been?

Sorry for the long post.
