lumbar spinal stenosis

im see a ortho dr. in april for lumbar spinal stenosis from a bone spur. if  he says surgery im not sure i want to do it.i applyed for ssdi and was denied i now have a lawyer to appeal.if it dont work out for the ssdi.im not sure i should do it in case i have to go back to work. what r therestrictions long term if do the surgery liffting bending heavy work or will i have to light work?

i have ddd in neck ddd in lumbar spine with sciatic pain dow leg when walking and standing   a bone spur at l4 L5 area . also have anxiety and depression.  i  have flair up at night with leg pain waking snd keeping me up at night.  im on 4 vicodin 500mg a day  2 nuerotin 300mg a day flexaril every 8 hours celexa 1 a day and 1/2 xanax in mournig and 1 xanax at night 1mg. when i turn my head it creaks and grinds. when i get a flair up of tail bone pain(sciatica) only a hot bath relives the pain. my legs always feel fatigued and week.
