Leg Pain

I have a lot of pain behind my left knee & my left leg calf has a lot of pressure in it. It feels like it wants to burst. I have been taking therapy but isn't working. With two hips replaced & degenerated discs I'm getting to hate pain. I was doing good after hips replaced but know this pain has come in. What could be causing this pain.

I hope that works for you.  I was a little weirded out about wearing "pantyhose" but I tried the thigh highs and they just rolled down and made things worse.   I could use the "glue" but that doesn't appeal and I'm not going to start wearing garters.   The "Mantyhose" / tights are bad enough.

If the leg pain is knee high you (I think) need more then socks.   What kind of doctor(s) are you seeing?   They have doctors who focus on pain and can advise you on all sorts of treatments (Including when you should consider talking to a surgeon about knee replacement)

Your GP can write you a prescription for compression.   And of course tell you if this is a good idea (or not)   I'm not an expert but I would think "if" you need this you need ones that go over the knee.   Thighs or tights.  I also would suggest if the Doctor thinks this is worth trying you go into a place that fits you with the proper size.   It might sound overly simple but for some forms of leg pain its magic.   *And one less pill to swallow.

I tried the socks but that didn't help. I think my left knee needs replacing. It has been scoped, broken and realined and screwed back together. It is time to put it to rest.

Have you looked into compression stockings to relieve the pain?
