What to do about a subchondral cyst in the hip?

My hip started hurting about 2 years ago. It is gradually worsening. I fell on it 2 months ago, aggravating it. The pain seems to move from the groin, in the front, to the outside and even in the back sometimes. I can be walking fine, than suddenly get a sharp pain. The MRI showed a "prominent subchondral cyst involving the lateral aspect of the acetabulum".
I am a 47 year old. I train 12-15 hours martial arts and conditioning per week. Do not have osteo arthritis. How did this develop, and what do I do about it, so I can resume my training.
