Than you very much for the advise
Hi!
Well, I wouldn’t advise you to start the treatment with an epidural injection. Please consult your ortho or neuro specialist. Normally you will be taken for manual therapy like traction and for physiotherapy. The stretching and strengthening exercises will help relieve the tension and the manual therapy will help lift the pressure off the nerve. Some doctors also advise wearing a lumbar corset. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are prescribed. If you do not respond to these then yes, epidural injections is a possibility. Take care!
