Flying after tibial nail operation

I slipped in my bathroom and broke both my fibula and tibia. I was taken to A&E and then went directly to theatre where they performed a tibial nail operation. 4 weeks post op I am due to take a 2 hour flight for a family wedding and I'm not sure whether flying is a good idea due to increased risk of dvt and clots. I've been given a yes by one doctor and a no by another. I have always been in good health and have no history of clots etc. I also do not have a plaster cast. Does anyone had any advice?

I'd get a 2nd opion is your flight long or short hall also could you ask for more leg space to ensure that you are comfortable also leg socks are also a must I have to wear them as I have deep varicose veins I'm to get surgery to remove my radial head as it's shattered and that it's not healed properly
