Thank you for your response to my recent inquiry
about minimally invasive surgery for a "fissure
of knee cartilage under the patella." A patient
of mine drives an eighteen wheeler for an occupation.
and experiences "excruciating pain" when having to
step down on the clutches to shift. She will be grateful
to you as well for the feedback and direction given
to carry on a discussion with her orthopedic physician.
Again , thank you for your expertise and time taken
to respond to this inquiry. Have a wonderful Holiday
Season. Be well.

Hi Linda!
The ‘fissure of the knee cartilage under the patella’ can be corrected by braces, taping, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, physiotherapy or surgery. Minimally invasive surgery would involve debridement and chondroplasty. Please discuss with your doctor. Take care!
The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history.
