Side Effects NSAIDs

Hello,

I am an athlete and due to often strains or injuries i need to take non steroid anti inflammatory pills for a few days like ibuprofen, diclofenac, lornoxicam, etoricorib. Even from the first pill, i feel physical exhaustion and then water retention. I am also short of breath, sometimes i feel sleepy and also sometimes my vision acuity decreases. Of course, the symptoms disappear after a few days i finish the therapy.

Could someone tell me how to deal with these side effects?

Thank you!

So, I had an injury and had prescription strength ibuprofen prescribed for me.  My doctor said it is safe to take but to drink extra fluid!  DRINK drink drink when taking any of these.  I would say though you should run these things by your doctor. For muscle aches, my athlete kids have a ton of luck with the lidocaine patches and creams.  Salon Pas is a brand, icy hot is another. Literally, roll out area, put on patch, next day they feel better.  I had an injury from a fall and did this as well and it was helpful.
