What is this swelling in the finger?
hi,
my son (9 yr.) has a swelled/bloated area in one of the fingers (i researched it, but i can't find anything that resembles his condition). it's like this from two weeks now, and it happened after riding a bike. he doesn't have any pain or discomfort, it's not warm, no rash or visible damage/cut/puncture/insect bites. he's not diabetic or anything like what I've seen on the net. ha can freely move it or use the finger. it doesn't swell more nor less, just stays like this. the skin is soft to the touch but I can feel the swelled area. here is a picture of the hand https://ibin.co/2u4VfznUd5vB.jpg does anyone have an idea what is this?
