mri results but doc doesnt believe?

I went to my neuro for a spinal mri to rule out ms inititally and went in today for my blood and test results. He came in said my spinal looked ok but the radiologist who read the mri saw some degernative spine issues but the neuro didnt believe it because i am so young (32)? also my blood work came back with higher than normal athritis showing inflammation. He said he would concerned if i was older but since im not i shouldnt worry. I have made an appt at an orthopedic clinic next week and took a continous leave of absence for the pain which is awful all the time. any ideas thoughts? i would think the mri and the blood test would confirm a back problem here.

degenerative spine issues do not mean much. This begins for all over age 21.
I do not know how blood work shows inflammation.

That said, you probably would be better off going to a rheumotolgist for your arthritis/ms concerns.

Good Luck

Hi, as you have already taken an appointment with the orthopedician he will sure corelate the MRI findings and physical examination findings to come to a conclusion.
