foraminal protrusion on disc bulge

what is foraminal protrusion at L5-S1 superimposed on a diffuse disc bulge with facet athropathy causing neural foraminal stenosis?

Hi.

This basically means that the foramens (areas of the vertebrae where the nerves and blood vessels go through) are stenosed (smaller than normal) as a result of the intervertebral disc protrusion (bulging) which would lead to compression of nerve roots, thus, causing symptoms.

I have MRI report done for my ncek back and head pain.

Report :

1 Right Paracentral herniation C6-7 impressing into the right neutral foramen.
2. Left lateral protrusion c5-6 narrowing the left neytral foramen
