forever pain

i had 3 herniated disks which my dr. removed pieces of to relieve the swelling, but it also created problems with the sciatica. i have pain from the left side of the hip wrapping around to the lower back and through the groin :between the thigh and crotch, it then extends down left leg, the whole leg not in any particular way, i have injured myself after my surgery and procedures that were done now i have the same problem on the right side. dr. has also given me nerve blocks and a procedure which hot needles are inserted on either side of spine? sorry do not know what it was called. everything was fine he had fixed the problem till i rolled my ankle at work and caught myself  not only did i injure the right side but the left side is worse that before

You have my sympathy. I have back issues, too. Sorry you are going through this. Hope you are doing better today.

Hi pat, I'm not a Dr. But I have back problems and hip problems which I am on chronic pain medicine for.  I hope you don't have to go that route.  Have you been back to the Dr. Since that last injury? That probably has to be the first course of action?  There might be some slight adjustment or treatment that he could do again along with a short course of pain relief that just might put you back where you were.  I hoped that helped. Let me know how it goes. Suzi
