Tail Bone Injury

I fell right on my tail bone when I was 12, soon 13. When I fell, I lost my ability to breath for what felt like 20-30 seconds 'till I gasped for air. I had difficulty that whole week after and couldn't really get up without a struggle, run, or walk for prolonged distances until I had to sit for a break. Its been 4 years since the injury, and I never went to get it checked since the pain went away. But I have a bump on my lower back. Now my lower back pops a lot when I walk, sit, lie down, dance, etc. I'm scared it'll get worse over the years, but I'm wondering if I should just see a chiropractor, or go to the doctor to get x-rays.

Hello!

You have to go for an X-ray and orthopedic examination for the cause of the bump in the lower back.
It may not be related to the injury, it may be a cyst, it may be a spinal deformity due to your injury etc

Based on the diagnosis you can visit a chiropractor if you need therapy.

Take care!
