knee injury

Hi. I had an accident with my knee seven month ego and the result of MRI is down here:
EXT .LOWER KNEE MRI
SPINE LUMBOSACRAL
Rt .KNEE MRI WITH DIFFERENT PULSE SEQUENCES AND DIRECTION
a little joint fluid is seen. grade ll tear of posterior horn of the medial meniscus but lateral meniscus is normal.
PCL is normal but ACL is fully teared.
partial tear of LCL and MCL is normal.
doctor's prescription was 10 days of Physiotherapy, about 30 minutes each day. it was good but my knee still have some issues and i can't run normally. doctor said that people don't need a surgery unless they be a professional athlete. what should i do an what will happen if i don't have a surgery?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there!

Well, though it would be difficult to comment specifically, there are two ways to go from here; either you could continue with physiotherapy over the next few weeks and see if it helps regain movement/ strength or you may seek a second opinion with another orthopedician regarding the management plan/ is surgery would be recommended in the situation.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
