I suffer with severe lower back pain. I take oramorph liquid and morphine tablets daily for the pain.
GP sent me for XRAY- normal,
GP finally sent me for MRI (first one ive ever had after 10+ years of chronic pain). The GP said it was normal and just gave me a print out?
Can anyone explain the following terms to me:
normal marrow signal apart from incidental haemangiomata,
normal hydration signal with no significant herniation.
the canal is patent and there is no significant foraminal compromise.
does the wording NO SIGNIFICANT mean there is something but not enough to treat?
what is a haemangiomata?
GP has not explained anything to me and just said "its normal wait for pain clinic to contact you"
just want some help to understand.
thank you
