-metatoxin 260 mG carbopaltin 450mg--not responding

dear members
       my mom age 45 was diagonesed by Ovarian cancer and underwent 3 rounds of chemo therapy after the surgery.
again yesterday it was found that tumers which was left without
removing ,starts to grow.
      
         it was observed by my gynocologist and oncologist that
recurrence has started after 3rd round of chemo with metatoxin 260 mG+carbopaltin 450mg.Can any one suggest anyother medicine which can work better than these medicine.we are fearing lot.

Is there some reason why they are not using Taxol with the Carboplatin?  Taxol is pretty rough on you but it does work well for many women.

hi, so sorry you are all going through this as well, my mums chemo carboplatin isnt working either after she had surgery, she now has new tumours. she starts her new one on friday, she is having taxol and mitoxantrone. we are just hoping and praying this one kicks in and works. i know how you feel as we are all really scared. we were told that there is more that can be tried when things dont work. i will keep you and your mum in my thoughtsx
