Back again!

I posted a couple of months ago that I had surgery for ovarian cysts, that were benign! I started hurting again last week and went to the dr and got another u/s. I now have 3 more cysts on my left ovary. we had decided after the surgery to try for another baby and now I am very worried that it will never happen. My mother had cancer in her uterus, cervix and ovaries. Thank you for any advice!

Hi, sorry you have 3 cysts on your left ovary, are you having the left ovary removed or the cysts only? Do you have your uterus and right ovary ? If so you will be able to have a baby with one ovary incase they remove the left one. I too am  hoping I will have a baby one day soon, I have a tumor on my left ovary and the gyno said he is removing it on 8/21 hopefully he will keep my uterus [I have fibroids] . I am sorry your Mom had uterine and ovarian cancer, just keep on top of things like you are doing, you will be fine and in my prayers!
God bless!

Thank you for your response! I got a call back from my gyno. yesterday that the cysts were just functional and gave me the go ahead on ttc. THank god, I was really worried since I just had surgery 2 months ago! They were able to save my right ovary and just took a section of it out, and my uterus was fine. Good luck to you on your upcoming surgery, you will be in my prayers! Are you having a laproscopic or laparotomy? Just remember to take all the time you need to recover!    God bless!

Hi, I am having a laporotomy. I am seeing my gyno tomorrow cause the pain was the worst I ever felt, I can't walk it is going in my left hip and down my pelvic bone, I HOPE he can move the sugery up.
I am GLAD your cysts are functional, when is your surgery? Try t keep a positive attitude, I know it can be hard at times like this ,just keep saying to yourself everything will get better after the surgery .
God bless!
