Welcome to the RS Maur! So have you regained regularity? In other words, have your bowels moved yet? That can take time and cause bloating but I guess I'd just put in a call for your Doctors nurse. Actually, I am sitting in the Family waiting room at Mayo. My 21 year old son is having a lap this morning to correct a urital stricture. Not fun but with a lap, he should be up and around in about a week and plenty healed by the time school starts. I hope you start feeling better soon Maur! MV
Welcome! Bloating is common with laproscopic surgery since they fill your belly with gas in order to get a better look around. Hot tea and a heating pad is what has helped me. Also, try not to lie flat, a recliner is the perfect choice at this time. Glad to hear you are on the RS. Give your body a chance to heal and don't rush things. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Godspeed
