Bloating, back pain and leg pain

I'm not sure what I should be doing next.  In the last couple of months I have had bloating, feeling of fullness, lower back pain, and leg pain fairly consistantly.  The problem is that I also have kidney disease, and diabetes. I have had an US which shows myoma (small)and the gyno wants to do a hysterectomy.  My concern is should I ask for a gyno-onc or should I let the OB/GYN do the surgery?  I haven't had a CA125.  Should I ask for that?  I have been reading your forum and realize how hard it is to detect OVCA, I'm just not sure where to go next.

Hello,
I just went through an endometrial biopsy. I would advise any woman going through any serious procedure to GET A SECOND OPINION.
Some doctors will just "push" a certain procedure because they are comfortable performing it. Whatever it is please get a second opinion. It's your life, not the doctor's.
Thank-You!

The CA 125 is not a very good diagnostic test for OC, I beleive it goes up and down in premenopausal women.  The US that they uses to diagosis the myoma did not find anything abnormal with the ovaries did it?  Talk with your GYN about your symptoms, they may order further testing.  Good luck

I know that.  I also know it would not be causing my symptoms because my period is normal, for me... I am 49 and premenopausal. I also have fatigue.  No energy.

A myoma is a tumor in your uterus, ususally benign.
