CA125 numbers after 1st chemo

Hello all,
My Mum in law was diagnosed with Stage 3c in April has had extensive surgery and now just had her 2nd chemo last Thursday.
Her numbers going into surgery were 4000+, post surgery 1500 and after first round of carbo and taxol 549.  The Dr's were very pleased.
She has tumors left near her splien; liver; lung; bowel and fluid around bladder. (metastatic carcinoma)

Do they continue to drop so quickly or will it now slow down? I know the numbers we are looking for are 20 and below.

She is also not experiencing any sickly side effects just a little tired and her hair is starting to fall out, will this continue or could her other treatments cause sickness?

Thank you everyone for you kind words we are trying to come to terms with what this means for our family and all your advice is very encouraging.

Thats a good drop in numbers. It may slow down a little before it gets to normal. She may start having fatique if her counts get low, they should be monitering her red and white counts. There are boosting shots they can give for this. She also may start experiencing some bone pain from the treatments, if so they can give her something for that. Hope she continues doing well.
