Well my Ca125 jumped from 120 to 227 after my 3rd treatment of Doxil.  So this Fri. my Oncologist is putting me on Alimta, normally used for Lung Cancer, but are finding it works for Ovarian as well.  Any one with info or who has been on it, I would appreciate hearing from.  Supposedly side effects are minimal.  Thank you,

there is a lot of info on this drug on the web, just google Alimta, seems like Lily  also has  a finacial help plan for those that need aide paying for it.  Good luck, sounds like they are having some good results with its use, let us know, we care. Marty

Hey there.....I am not familiar with it either.  But, just like Marie, I hope it works great and quickly at that, too!  I will see what I can find as well.
Isn't it normal for the CA to rise while on Doxil....?  So many going through so much.....too bad men don't have ovaries......I wonder how much research would be done then?
