Yey, I was able to get my carbo down yesterday. I took 10 dexametasone extra plus the ten I was already taking for pre meds, slowed the taxol and carbo down  and was able to get it all down but sweating bullets and hot flashes the entire time. My ca-1265 down to 32, yey. Any body interested in a vaccine being tested for oc and bc go to search bar and enter, University of Washington breast and ovarian cancer vaccine. Very glad to hear your CA125 is down so much - great!  You must be pleased. Had a look at the Univ of Washington site - looks interesting.  How will they test people do you know?  ie if they fit into the group or not.  Did you ask about it for yourself?  Just had my 2nd chemo last week - not nearly so bad as the first one thank god.  My CA125 has dropped from 380 to 252 from the first infusion which isn't bad - just hoping it keeps on going down.

Kathy, that is good news.  Carbo is one rough drug, but, hey, that is why it works so well.  I am glad that you checked in with us; I was wondering how you were doing.
