Complicated Cysts and endometrium thickening

I am a breast cancer survivor.  It has been almost 3 years with no recurrence.  I have been on tamoxifen 20mg in that time.  Recently I have had some pelvic pain as though I had my period, cramping, no bleeding.  Iam 52 years old and post-menopausal.  I had a pelvic ultrasound done 3 weeks ago and they found endometrium thickening of 11mm. and a complicated cyst, no fluid seen.  I am so worried that this may be a form of cancer .  I go to the gynecologist in a week.  What can I expect from the gynocologist?  Will there be a biopsy?  Am I looking at surgery?  I know you can't really say too much but any information would be helpful.  This waiting is killing me.

I am both an endometrial cancer survivor as well as an ovarian cancer survivor.

My endometerial cancer was found in the course of investigations that my husband and I were having for infertility.

A diagonosis of endometerial cancer cannot by made until a biopsy of the endometrium is performed, so yes you can have a negative pap test and have endometiral cancer sometimes though the malignant cells of the endometrium can start making their way down into the cervix and irregularities in a pap smear can be the first indication that something is wrong,
