over the years i have been to many doctors for all the pain i have been in nothing to explain all the pain i have been going through till one day someone mention to me that i needed to go have a pap smear i did that when i did the doctor sent me directly to get an ultrasound well during the ultrasound there was a mass of some kind on one of my overies waited to get the test back when i did the doctor read me the results saying that the tec thought that there might be cancer but the person that reads them said there wasnt the problem is this the doctor that had the ultrasound done sent me to ob-gyn to have them looked over and go from there well i dont have any insurance and when i got there i didnt know i needed the money up front and they said i have to reschudle i dont know what to do i make to much for public assistance by 200 a month but cant afford to quit my job so now what do i do not only that some of the doctors i have went to say ever so casual oh yea by the way your white blood count is up and you have a inlarged colan like its no big deal i dont know where to go or what to do i dont want to quit work to get public medicade but at this rate i am going down hill at about 60 miles a hour any feed back will be greatly Appreated

I too was sick and had no insurance, was not at new job long enough. I first spent $ being diagnosed wrong. I had to quit my job because I was so sick, finally the third Dr. figured it out Ovarian cancer, they told me I had to immediatly go in for surgery. I went to my local DSHS and they immediatly put me on medical medicade and arranged for me to get Social Security. I took a huge pay cut, but I have made it through ok. In hindsight I wish that I would have gone to the Dr. earlier but did not have the money. For me I am single no kids and thought help was impossible, please take care of youself. You will be surprised how many people out there want to help you. Look into your local non-profits they are wonderful people.Good Luck to you and God Bless

Could you contact Cancer Agencies in your area ?

I used to eat healthy and do exercise.  And I still got breast cancers...

However, I still continue eating healthy and do exercise.  Because that is only thing I can do to help myself and not my doctors.

They told me to reduce: sugar, red meat...
Increase: color fruit, color veggie, lentil bean, skim milk...

I also write a down what is going on with my health, and what kind of medication I am taking...  so it will be easier for me to communicate with the doctors...
