I to get those pains. I have always had pain in my leg on the right side mid cycle. 10 years ago after alot of dull stares from physicians one finally told me I have Mittleschmertz. Up until 6 months it was mangable, but recently about 5 days before and gradually subsiding within 3 days after my period the right the pain is unbearable. Pulling pain around my naval, at both ovary sites. Pain so bad it makes me cry. Walking is uncomfortable. Sitting is uncomfortable I get the sweats the pains is so bad. Aleve doesn't do it. Last month I mentioned this at my routine visit to my OB/GYN. Went for a transvaginal ultrsound. Found a small nodule on right ovary. Stupid me didn't ask where on the ovary is. Have to have this TVUS repeated in 6-8weeks.

This was very helpful. Glad to know I am not alone. I was diagnosed with an endometrioma and a host of other things. I'm waiting on surgery and also my cycle. These past two weeks have been quite uncomfortable. I figured it had to do with my cycle. I've experienced everything you all have stated and especially in my legs. THANK YOU...now I know it's not in my head!!
yuppers, i have the same prob with a 5 cm cyst on my right ovary, pain is worse leading up to and into the first few days of my period. ive got a constant dull ache other times in legs, back and pelvis, but it is 10 fold when monthly comes.
Thanks for the tip. I need to get a heating pad.
I have a dermoid tumor about the same size of yours on my left ovary, and the week leading up to my period I can most definitely feel the tumor and get very sore and have leg pain and back pain. So you aren't alone. I found the heading pad helps a great deal, I try not to use pain medication all that often. I hope you feel better! =)
i have felt pain worse this week right before my period too.nooone has diagnosed me with anything yet.although, yesterday my family dr.said i have cysts on my ovaries, which was saw on a catscan in august.yetserday was the first i heard of it.she said cysts are normal, which i understand, but if you don't do a followup scan ,how do you know?i have a lump i can feel under my right rib and it is worse now.can anyone relate to this? thank you
it was 3cm by 3 cm during the ultrasound which was 3 or more weeks ago. It is seriously gross to know that something is growing in you that shouldn't be there, with a constant ache to remind you that it's there.
Uggghhh.
Yes. And this is common with all women. I personally have always known when my period is about to start.
What size is your tumour?
