Dont understand test results!

Hi well i had a 10cm cyst and my right ovary removed with a laparotomy 9 days ago now and i have been waiting the results of the biopsy nervously. I got a letter this morning and i dont understand it basically its just a nursing discharge letter it says on it

*Good post op recovery
* HB - 12-4
*MSU- no growth

what does this mean? i wish they would just write it so i could understand was this the results or not?

If anyone could help i would appreciate it thank you

HB = 12.4 is good. Not anemic.
Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Call your surgeon on Monday and ask.  I have copies of all my pathology reports.  The reports are completed within 4-5 days of surgery, so they know.

I called to get my path results and was told that my Dr dicusses it at the follow up appt unless there is an unusual finding.  He would call me if there were such a finding.  My path results were avail 3 days after my surgery.  Good luck.
