Thanks for all the replies....
I was diagnosed with endometriomas in a vaginal sonogram and a laproscopic surgery is scheduled for next month. My next question would be would I be able to get pregnant naturally (with out any IUI,IVF etc..) after the endometriomas are removed?

My Gp told me that it can't be picked up unless there is a huge amount and that an investigative laporoscopy is done to find it.

No, only if it has produced endometriomas large enough to be picked up on the scan.  I had an ultrasound, CT and MRI just before I was dx and none of them indicated I had endometriosis.  My gyn/onc said I had a pretty severe case that he discovered when he removed my tumor.

Hi , I had extensive endometriosis and it was not identified until I had surgery .

No not typically. Only if it is in the ovaries (endometrioma) which generally shows up as a complex cyst. Sometimes an x-ray can identify endo, but it is usually only confirmed through surgery.
