How many of you that have cyst has ever used the birth control patch? It seems that my body had taken a turn for the worse since starting the birth control patch.

My doctor had me try it last year. But I kept getting severe leg cramps really bad and was afraid of a traveling clot..I even went into the e.r. because of the pain it caused in my legs..They did an U.S. on the main artery in the leg. Fortunately they didn't see anything..But they took me off the patch as a precaucion..So it didn't do me any good!! Good Luck to you,if you decide to use it..

I never took the pill my whole life until i developed 2 cysts last year.  I was put on the patch at first and i heard that it creates more estrogen and is not good for people that have endometriosis and i think that is what i have so I opted for the pill.  For the first 2 weeks i felt the same with the whole leg pain and feeling that there was  blood clot but it wasnt one and I am fine and the cysts have shrunk.  Not all the way but have dramatically reduced in size.  i would opt for something else rather than the patch because I have heard to many bad things about the patch
