Missing Periods - Spotting and Pain

Hello,

My periods are generally regular. But the last period was around 15 days late!!

Besides these, after around 15th day of the date of period, I have severe cramps, near the urinary canal. I cannot urinate, when I have those cramps. Cramps last for around 40 seconds but its very severe - i cannot move. Are these signs of some problem with the ovary? Pl help. Many thanks!!

Sounds like it could be a urinary tract infection--but I would get it checked out.  Who wants the pain? Plus, you will need antibiotics to clear up the UTI or it will only get worse.

Take care--keep us posted.

It could be, but not the ovaries are not the most likely culprits in this scenario.  You should see your gyn, as you could have any number of urinary tract conditions, along with possible hormonal disruptions.  Your gyn can test for urinary tract conditions, and refer you to a specialist if you need more treatment than antibiotics.   Also,  some hormonal disruptions can contribute to urinary tract problems.  Your doctor should order tests to determine the cause of your urinary discomfort AND irregular period.

My periods were messed up and I had bladder cramps and it turned out to be a benign cyst which was recently removed. I'd talk to your doc about and U/S.
