worried about cysts

back in december i was sent to the ER with a ruptured ovarian cyst and there they found 3 or 4 more on my right ovary. after antibiotics and treatment i felt better, but about 3 months ago, i started feeling sick again. i have pain during intercourse, occasional stabbing pains on my right side, and either skipped or severe periods with heavy cramping. these past 2 weeks ive had a fever off and on, tired/lethary, with dizzyness, and nausea. i literally can feel the pain in my right overy, but its not severe. im worried it could be something serious, but im only 21. any ideas/ help id REALLY appreciate it.

hi there
Id go get a complete pelvic exam and they might order you a ultrasound.  Id definitely follow up on this and not wait.  Tell Doc about ALL your symptoms and about previous cysts.  A fever on and off for 2 weeks is not normal.

thats what i was planning on doing. they had me have a regular ultrasound, and intervaginal and a cat scan last time. im not totally sure my cysts are causing the sickness, but i felt there was a good chance.

The cysts can cause ALL of those symptoms and more-especially if you have one that has ruptured.  Follow-up and be PERSISTANT.  that is my motto!  I know they don't always put us off intentionally-but we are not their only patients-and you have to be your own advocate!  Good luck!
